After scowering the articles that are floating about the Internet I found this one:

http://www.eatsleepsport.com/

I am a massive fan of Arjen Robben, ever since he was at Chelsea a couple of years ago. I love how he plays, and for some reason, how he runs!

Unfortunately, as it explains in the article, he is more likely going to be moving Bayern Munich now which is a big disappointment. Now, the Bundesliga. It’s a great league, Bayern finished 2nd last season (08/09) only trailing by 2 points to the Champions Wolfsburg. The thing is, Manchester United are also a great team (Yes, I am biased) and won the league last season. Ofcourse, Robben will not only be looking at the quality of the team but at other things as well. I suspect the Bayern team will be able to accommodate for him more. Manchester already have a strong team, even after losing our midfield-come-striker Ronaldo.

I decided to do a bit more digging….

And found this article

http://www.google.com

It looks as though the German Media have already acknowledge the move to Bayern for around 25m Euros which is a reasonable but fair amount for the player.

The players spokesmen however, is not confirming this, which is good news for us here in England.

Lets hope Robben surprises us all!

My thoughts on Joleon Lescott leaving Everton for Manchester City. I am a Manchester United fan so the actions of the rivals are quite important because of the upcoming derbys.

Could this be the end of Joleon Lescotts time at Everton?

After their defeat at Burnley over the weekend, I’m not surprised he wants to move to Man City. Everton are now set to lose what I would say is their best centre-back, what with Jagielka injured.

Although I think it’s fair to say that Evertons board have done well. Citys initial offers of £15m and £18m were turned down after Moyes was adamant that Lescott would not leave. The board have somehow managed to increase the fee to a nice £24m.

Now, Man City. So far they have signed Toure, Adebayor and Barry (If memory serves me correct!). Its safe to say these players, although brilliant, are not in the same league as some of the players that Man City were initially after. For example, Kaka, Ronaldo and Eto’o. So what has made Man City lower their expectations and sign more, less significant names? I thought money was everything now in the world of football. Maybe I was wrong.

Looking over their current performances however, City seem to be doing quite well, winning their first 2 Premier League games in which Adebayor scored in both. A better performance so it seems than their pre-season friendlies in which they only managed 1 win (against Celtic), a draw (with Barnsley) and 4 losses.

The premier league looks to be a good one this year. Come on United.
